One major point is where data is stored...

To me it is important to consider the fact that using Goolge Docs, You give Google FULL access to all the information that You store there... You have no control, and that might be a legal issue depending on Your country and/or company.

Using a Lotus Notes You have control over Your own information and no other company can access Your data.

But if information security isn't an issue...
